Eligibility for R2310 South Africa Disability Grant

To qualify for the Disability Grant in 2025, South Africans must fulfill the provided criteria:

• The applicants at the time of application should hold the status of South African Residents, Citizens or Refugee.
• The age of applicants should be from 18 to 59 years. It means this benefit is for disabled adults. 
• The disabled residents should not be cared in state institutions. 
• The disabled residents should have a 13 digit ID. 
• The earnings of the disabled resident should be below Rand 86,280 per annum if they are single and the combined earnings of the disabled resident with their partner should be below Rand 1,72,560 if they are married. 
• The disabled residents should have assets lower than Rand 12,27,600 if they are single. 
• If the disabled resident is married then the combined assets should be lower than Rand 24,55,200. 
• The disabled resident should undergo medical checkup where the medical professional will be appointed by the state. That medical professional will check the degree of disability and based on the report, the state will assess whether the applicant is qualified for this benefit or not. If yes, then whether the benefit will be temporary or permanent. 
• The disabled residents should bring their previous medical records or any reports when they are applying for this benefit. 
• The medical reports are on;ly valid for three months from the date of check up.
