Eligibility for R2310 SASSA Care Dependency Grant

To Qualify for this Rand 2310 Monthly Care Dependency Grant 2025, applicants should meet following requirements:

• The applicant can be a parent, a primary caregiver or a court appointed foster parent.
• The applicant should hold South African residency or citizenship. 
• The applicants earning if they are single should be below Rand 2,23,200 Per Annum and if they are married then the combined earnings should be below Rand 4,46,400 Per Annum. These income requirements are not applicable for foster parents. 
• The children should be below 18 years of age. 
• The children should not be permanently cared for in a state institution. 
• The children must have severe medical conditions and that children should require full time care or special care. 
• Both children and the applicant should reside in South Africa. 
• Before the grant approval, a medical officer will assess the medical condition of the children. It ensures that benefit is given to those who are really in need.
