The government of Maharashtra on 28th of July, 2023 officially launched the Mahatma Jyotirao Phule Jan Arogya Yojana scheme for all the people who are residents of Maharashtra. The benefits under the scheme were expanded by the government of Maharashtra and the expanded scheme came into effect from 1st July, 2024.

Mahatma Jyotirao Phule Jan Arogya Yojana

The MJPJAY 2025 works in accordance with the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana. Both Government of India and Government of Maharashtra share the expenses in the scheme at a percentage of 60% by Government of India while 40% by Government of Maharashtra.
